In the San Fernando Valley, there is a Japanese Garden run by the Department of Reclamation. It also doubles for Starfleet command...It's a beautiful place and the reclamation process is interesting. I discovered the use of bugs in helping to clean reclaimed water--not sure how I feel about that, but I know there are "good" bugs. However, I feel much more comfortable with my water being filtered through the atmosphere before I drink it. The water in the Japanese Garden had some reclaimed filtered water with fish in it and no they didn't have five eyes, so it's all good.
What I think I loved most about this place was the lamps that light the way at night. They were sculptures of beauty!
