Pyromage Update!

My illustrator, Shi, always does this to me. 

I've asked "Shi" one of my illustrators, to draw a scene with Zeroh.

If you don't know who that is, the short version is, he's a dragon whose lost his memory and is trying to fit into the human world. He's the main character of The Pyromage series and you can read more about him here. 

So anyway, Shi has done an excellent job of recreating Zeroh for me. I love Cynthia's designs of Zeroh. Which you can see all of Cynthia's illustrations for the first book here--just scroll to the bottom and the images scroll through all of them. But I wanted a more rustic look to these characters.

I found Shi after Cynthia went to pursue other interests (Cynthia is way too cool for me anymore 🫠🥲) and I was lucky to get Shi to agree to character design and a few scenes of each character!

By the way, thank you to all who helped me choose which direction to take Zeroh's design. A little while back, I asked you to vote on which of the three Zerohs you liked and this was the winner!

So after we got him finalized, Shi asked me to describe the scene I wanted him in. I told her I wanted him kicking back in Barkeep's bar (another reference to the 1st book). 
 
Shi goes off for a while and then she comes back. 

"Pick one," she says.

Then she proceeds to give me the following image: 

Of course I want all three of them. But, I thought I'd ask for your opinion!
