Here it is! Tada! My website tends to get an overhaul every 2 years because after a while the look gets boring. Plus keeping up with trends help make the website look fresh and encourages me to update the site with current information. So let me show you what's new... LogoI had an idea for a new logo to go with my look but I had a certain cohesive color (copper) I wanted to go with. When I saw the logo I thought, "Meh, good enough". But it nagged me. Plus it doesn't show up well in certain areas. So I tried again. This next time I got something I really liked. Going all copper made the whole logo bland. I very much appreciate GraphicsMaster76 and their patience and talent with this. They gave me this amazing style sheet. New FREE ReadSo the biggest change was the free book I was offering. The King's Thief is always one of my favorite stories and I may put it as the free book one day again, but if I want to go M/M on this site, an M/M/M book is going to have to be the one to show readers what type of book they can look forward to. I do realize I'll still have M/F projects that I'll talk about but my main writing focus will be M/M. Check it out in the Books section. New ScheduleI also sat down with myself and said, self, it's time to get back on a schedule. A theme for the blog. The things I want people to know about. And self agreed. Here are the new weekly themes:
RealizationsI'm an author and as such I've never been serious about book reviews. But I read a lot. I'll have weeks where I'm reading a book every 2 days. Then I'll have weeks where I just play games with my spare time. SQUREL! Anyway... I read books and authors like book reviews. So I might just have to start posting on my Goodreads. I mean, nobody pays attention to me anyway, I might as well get some pet-peeves off my plate. Or chest. Whatever. I swear all the editors come out when I write a book, what I've got to say is way more mellow than what I get for my own books. I mean, have you seen some of them? I wade through so many snowflake tears to find that one person that actually understands what I'm writing. Please don't see that as a complaint. It's not. I'm so lucky to have people furious over what this character did to another and have an emotional reaction. It's way more gratifying to see people all mad that I influenced their precocious feelings. As I once heard... it's better for a writer to be locked away in jail from their words, than people ignoring them. Writer's are meant to make readers think. Emotion is just a logical reaction to that. One day, if I already haven't, I want to write about why it's logical to have emotion. Said another way, emotions are logical. But that's not this post. This post is about the Writing Life. What's NextThis is where I'm going to show off my life as a writer and a person. It's the diary I have and the best way to get to know me.
So Be prepared for a little of this and a little of that. I hope to bring you with me on this adventure called life. Comments are closed.

Welcome to The Enclave Thanks for taking a look at my little hodgepodge of a blog. The format and subjects of my blog has changed through the years as it's my log of S.N.McKibben's writing journey. You've now been sufficiently forewarned, happy reading! Categories
