Dan and Jake (and Mimi) Are Not DoneJake has a secret even Dan, the love of his life, doesn't know. For months, Jake and Dan have been traveling the nation, shipping cargo and growing closer with each passing day. But Jake's fake smiles and strained conversations suggest something isn't quite right, and Dan is desperate to overcome his own insecurities and win Jake's affections. When a mysterious S.O.S. shipment to a remote area of Colorado appears, the two are forced to confront their feelings and the backlash they face as a couple. As they journey through the dangerous mountain pass, they must battle their fears and learn to accept one another as they really are, if they want to continue their relationship. UpdateThe first draft is nearly complete! I have one more scene to write, maybe two. Unlike the original I have not had a lot of time thinking about the plot, which makes the story less complicated. I'm trying to finger out a more fleshed out story as the first draft might be about 15,000 words. And that's okay. I might not have more of a story, really. Or maybe it's time to bring in help! Ventures with an A.I. junior writing partnerMedia makes A.I. out to be this great thing for consumers, but it's become taboo to some creatives, so of course I'm going to talk about it! It was in my head for a short while that A.I. would be writing stories ten times better than any human. Nobody would buy books, stories, kindles, etc. All bookstores would become relics (okay, maybe more relic than they are now) due to anyone being able to type "AI write me a love story". What was promised are all LIES! Since looking into a "junior writing partner" I've discovered people's fear of A.I. A.I. will take over the world! Well, I've looked into it and... not so much. A.I. is not the skynet we anticipated. Kinna like everyone's perception of huskies vs. husky. Why take over the world when you can have hoomans cater to your every whim? Maybe A.I. is smart like a dog.
So... no, A.I. is not going to write novels by itself. There are some great ones out there. But for right now, I'm gonna need to do this work myself! Until next time... ...happy reading! ~ Stephy Comments are closed.
